18 Peaks Mountain is a popular hot spot for exercise and recreational activities in Hsinchu City. As its name, the mountain comprises 18 peaks and extends about 7-8 km in Southeast suburbs. The highest peak is 131.79m and the lowest is 50m. It was once a military based during WWII, some bomb shelters still exists until today. There are several trails in the mountain which are relatively flat with many stairs and entrances to get to from Boai Rd. (博愛路) and Baoshan Rd. (寶山路).
